Boston Theater Conference A biennial convening of hundreds of actors, directors, designers, playwrights, production and administrative personnel and theater enthusiasts from the region convene on issues facing Boston area theater. 

Theater Lovers Become a StageSource Theater Lover and receive a Circle of Friends 2-for-1 ticket discount card valid at 55 theaters throughout New England and one-year subscription of The StagePage.

The StageSource Job Fair Job seekers who work backstage and in administrative jobs with theater, music, opera and production companies have the opportunity to interview for positions theaters throughout the region at this annual job expo.

Annual Auditions Over 50 directors, producers and casting agents from around the region see over 500 Equity and non-Equity actors at the StageSource Annual Auditions in June.

StagePage The StagePage is a quarterly calendar of theater events and performances in New England.

TAMA Theater Arts Marketing Alliance is a convening of marketing professionals in Boston theater. TAMA meets approximately every 6 weeks to discuss best practices, marketing strategies, and the state of arts marketing and public relations for StageSource members. Marketers from the small/fringe, mid-size and LORT theaters attend regularly.

Education Initiative StageSource presents scholarships to college/university students in their junior year and to graduating high school students with a demonstrated commitment and interest in theater. In addition, we offer the panel series “Careers in Theater: Yes, They Exist” at local college and university theater programs which exposes students to successful theater artists working in Greater Boston

Professional Development Programs designed to provide professional development and technical assistance to individuals and organizations.

IRNE Awards The IRNE Awards are presented annually by the Independent Reviewers of New England to recognize the extraordinary wealth of talent in the Boston theater community.
