If I Knew Then...

The If I Knew Then... Series are conversations moderated by early career artists with established artists currently working in the Boston area. 

We'll touch on such topics as:

  • How to make a career in Boston? 
  • Is it possible to survive exclusively through your work in Boston theatre?
  • How get your foot in the door here?
  • What support systems are available to working theatre artists in Boston?
  • Do I need a post graduate degree?  What are my options?

Each session will start with a moderated panel discussion.  An early career artist will talk to established artists in the community.  We'll open up discussion for audience Q and A and follow the session with time for networking and socializing.

Our first panel discussion is scheduled for Monday, December 12th from 6PM-8:30PM at 42 Brattle St (Cambridge Center for Adult Education, Roberts Room Dance Studio), Cambridge, MA 02138.

December's If I Knew Then... session will focus on Playwrights.  StageSource Jack Welch Scholarship Award winner MJ Halberstadt will moderate discussion with Kirsten Greenidge (Luck of the Irish), Rick Park (The Superherione Monolgues) and Ginger Lazarus (Matter Familias). On Monday, January 23rd we'll talk De'Lon Grant (Big River) will talk to Will Lyman(Long Day's Journey Into Night) , Tim Smith (Candide), and Marianna Bassham (Merry Wives of Windsor). Register for If I Knew Then...(Actors)
